Credibility of Online News sources...

This first blog is about the ever popular issue of Online news sources and how credible they are. Think about it, Do you really know if that article you just read is true ? Lack of context in messages online make it a bigger problem for people to determine sarcasm for real. We all probably know the saying " If it's on the internet it must be true!". For those who don't this is a sarcastic expression bringing to light how much false information is out there because anyone can write anything without fact checking. I personally have a hard time trusting any article or news update even if its from Big national and international news networks like Fox news or CNN for the plain and simple fact its been proven that certain networks show biased opinions and "facts" towards certain political parties or even skewed facts to keep the mass at bay. Now I know I may sound a bit "out there" but I am an slight conspiracy theorist and do believe to a certain extent there is a lot going on in the back ground that us "average joes" don't know about. I've done some research on how to fact check news or articles and Ill share some of my personal favorites with you.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE DOMAIN AND URL
Obviously known news networks will have a .com or .org etc for a domain name. but if you see a .com.co you can pretty well figure this isn't real.

ABOUT US SECTION
Details about the staff here should be straight and to the point, if it seems over the op or fluffed up you can safely assume they do the same to their articles.

EXAGGERATED TITLE
Over the top attention grabbing headlines sometimes a re a hint that this article is more opinion then fact.

I know we all as humans have a natural biasm. Its just how we as humans are made, but as a whole we also need to keep in our heads that everything we read or hear cant always be true. We are all allowed to have opinions and now in this age everyone in the world can read it, but if I may ask you all, please don't just read it, and say "welp that's how it is" and have that opinion. Do your research and have a valid opinion.
